Websites run on software that gets regular security updates. Left alone, an out-of-date site is an easy target. The UK government's 2025 Cyber Security Breaches Survey found 43% of businesses reported a breach or attack in the previous year.

What does website care include?
Software and security updates, backups, uptime monitoring, domain and hosting renewal reminders, regular checks of speed, forms and links, and small content changes like new photos, prices or opening hours.
Can you look after a website you didn’t build?
Usually, yes. I'll review it first to check it's in a fit state to maintain, and let you know honestly if anything needs fixing before I take it on.
How much does website care cost?
It depends on the size of your site and how many changes you tend to need. I'll suggest a plan after looking at your site, and give you a clear price before you commit.
What happens if my website gets hacked?
With regular backups in place, the first step is usually to restore a clean copy, then find and close the gap that let it happen. Prevention, through updates and good passwords, is far cheaper than repair.
Do I need website care if my site is simple?
Even a simple site has software that needs updating, a domain that needs renewing and details that go out of date. Care is about making sure none of that is forgotten.
