Which e-commerce platform should I use?
It depends on what you sell and how much you want to manage yourself. Popular options include Shopify and WooCommerce on WordPress, and each suits different shops. I'll recommend one after we've talked through your products and plans.
Can customers choose local delivery or collection?
Yes. I can set up local delivery areas, click and collect, and postal delivery with different prices, so customers only see the options that apply to them.
Do I need terms and conditions for an online shop?
Yes. You need to give customers clear information about your business, prices, delivery and their right to cancel, which for most online sales is 14 days under the Consumer Contracts Regulations. This is general guidance, not legal advice.
